It sucks to lose our only home game of the playoffs on the biggest stage, and to lose a chance to taste the Finals (great learning experience for the young guys), against LeBron once again and against a good performance for Jeff Green while we couldn't buy a shot.

Yet it was a great playoff run, unexpected and full of big moments. What's your biggest takeaway ? To me, it has to be Tatum's game/poise/talent. His dunk on LeBron and his 3 pointer just after were just crazy, and showed how great he can be. I hope Danny doesn't trade him down the line because he is going to be a real stud with more experience and muscles.

100% Tatum showing up. He showed this postseason that he will be a superstar in this league.

I can't wait to see how he looks next year

Tatum is probably it for me too. Nothing really specific, just Tatum.

We all knew he was special coming into the post-season. Starting from day 1, contributing to a 55 win team, picking up the slack of 2 injured All-Stars, we all know that. But in the post-season he was a different animal.

Over the last few games in particular, his defence (particularly his activity in the passing lanes & stripping ball handlers) has gone up a notch.

In G7 of the ECF a 20 year old rookie was only outdone by a player some people consider the GOAT. And it was a pretty slim margin. Let that sink in for a while.

Truly special talent. I see MVP level play in the future for him.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)

PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I hate the loss, but it's hard for me to feel too bad right now. Tatum is great, Brown is great (despite a couple of shaky games) and they will be the worst starters on the team next year. I'm good with that.

I agree with everything you guys have said about Tatum. He's been incredible and was really the only guy who showed up, today. Not his fault at all.

Tatum is a star in the making and Brown is a stud too. You know this hame will stick with Brown and make him work extra hard this off-season.

Not 1 thing. 3 things = Rozier, Jaylen and Tatum were all incredible this postseason.

Tatum's continued development is the biggest thing. Very excited to see what we can do with him and Kyrie next year with both Horford and Hayward to make plays for them.

I think that both Jaylen and Jayson use it as motivation. They're gonna work their assessment off this summer

Biggest takeaway is that if we're healthy, we're going to terrorize the East next year.  Tatum will come back even better.  So will Brown.  You could see how disappointed both Brown and Tatum were after the game.  They both have strong work ethic and this is going to fuel their offseason.  This has been a fantastic experience for our youngsters.

Bottom line is that nobody in the East can match up with a lineup of Irving, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, and Horford.

Valuable playoff experience for all the younger players, especially Brown and Tatum
C’s should be best team in the EC if healthy next year

Positive takeaway: Tatum isn't scared of the moment.
#2: Adding Kyrie, Hayward and Theis to the team next year should put us in the finals regardless of who does what in the draft or free agency.

The biggest positive takeaway is that we won 11 games in the playoffs.

I'm greedy.  I wanted 16.  But 11 is still more than 26 other teams won this year.

Really a shame that the playoff run had to end with bad games from Rozier and Brown given how absolutely incredible they have been this postseason. But by far the biggest take away is that the young guys are better than we thought, and maybe have higher ceilings than we thought. Tatum could legit be a top 5 guy in the league, Brown could be a top 15.Its gonna be fun next year.
