They wilted. You can’t expect to rely on HCA. Now the LeBron suck off fest begins.

Even worse. The announcers are asking when the league will recognize the genius of Tyrone Lue. ::)

The Celts were good enough.  The next best players on the Cavs tonight were Jeff Green and Tristan Thompson.

They just couldn't hit shots when they needed to.  Some of that's bad luck but some of it's mental.  Jeff Green was calm and cold-blooded tonight.  LeBron would not be stopped.  Against a team that was "tight" in a Rasheed-Wallace kinda way, that was enough.

Terrible game, but it was a great season. Tatum and Brown will get better.

4 of the top 6 rotation guys stunk up the joint.  definitely not good enough.  if even one of them has a reasonable shooting night or if they each just hit a couple more shots each, the end is a different story.

could have dealt with this loss better if they played better and just got outplayed by Cleveland but this loss was on the C's, not on Cleveland 'winning'.  that's what makes this "not good enough"

We should be proud we got this far with the injuries...

That said we 100% need to keep Smart over Rozier

i coulda accepted the injury excuse had we been beaten by philly or swept by cavs.

the fact we drilled then 3 times at home and were right there make me drop the excuse line. we coulda and shoulda beaten them. we shat the bed sadly from a player and coaching standpoint. unreal.

A bunch of role players simply not enough to get or done under these circumstances.  No other explanation necessary.

what do we do to upgrade for next year or is it possible? how can we get better OTHER than getting GH and KI and DT back?

Absolutely pathetic. I haven’t been so disgusted with a performance in years

agreed

2012 i accepted as it was the end of an era although it hurt. this hurts much worse.

i'd rather have lost to philly or been swept by cavs than win 3 games in convincing fashio and have two shots to close out and CHOKE. surreal.

All of these voodoo hitting the Celtics hard.

-They are now 37-1 all-time when leading a series 2-0.
-Winners of Game 5 wins the series 83% of the time....so we were the 17% that happened.
-They lose their only first and final home game of the playoffs.
-Charles Barkley picked the Celtics in 7. UGHH.

Rather have just lost 4-2 to LEBRON at the Q, than an embarrassing 4-3 Game 7 lack of effort at the Garden. But just my feeling. The 76ers did not belong in the ECF that's for sure.

or that i agree. this is painful because the 2012 team could not win 3 games easily. we did this year. UGGGGGGGGGGGGGH
