A friend of mine has invited me to go to the game. 4th is is awesome. The game hasn't even started yet and this thread is up 7 pages. I had the opportunity to see Celtics game 7 in 2008 and we came out victorious. Hopefully we can do the same tonight. I'm looking for my Celtics monkey now.

Enjoy and raise that decibel level up!

In 2008, after a glorious victory over the Cavs in game 7, Celtics Monkey retired. Today he is coming out of retirement. To provide us with good luck. Thank you Celtics Monkey for gracing us with your presence.

Ugh...haven't been this worked up for a Cs game since 2010 game 7 in the finals

Same here-Killed another 30 minutes!

Making a juicy steak on grill in two hours, asparagus, pilaf and mediteranean salad with fresh pressed garlic homemade dressing—-followed by a truck load of Red Wine!! My lab is going to love some raw cuts of steak before his dinner! Feasting like we are about to win an epic game!

Here are the headlines on the center articles on the ESPN NBA page:

http://www.espn.com/nba/

"LeBron has a history of stepping up against the Celtics"
"How this Game 7 would be LeBron James' best yet"
"Oladipo: King James in Game 7 'unstoppable'"
"How it's going down: What Lebron needs to do to win Game 7"
"LeBron comes up big in Game 7s"

I hope that CBS prints this page out and shows it to the team.

Mike

Nobody thinks...nor want the Cs to win. It is all about James. Many have already decided he is scoring 50 tonight and going to carry his team to a win.

I made mistake of reading some horrible Lebron article Ringer)on how this will be Lebron’s biggest win without Love—-not a single mention of Kyrie or Hayward in it- Then, Fans started commenting on how losing Kyrie and Hayward are nowhere near loss of Love and team Lebron has been carrying on sheer grit and willpower 😁- Makes me want to start drinking early🍷🍷🍷🍷

i avoided all that crap like the black plague. speaking of drinking, i have wine, whiskey and beer but i am about to go on a daiquiri run.

T minus 3 hours and 19 minutes until tipoff

WE GONNA SHOCK THE WORLD!
LET'S GO CELTICS!

I have been devastated several times by a Cs loss...one was in 1987 vs the Lakers on Magic's skyhook and the other was the final 4 minutes vs the Lakers in 2010 in the finals game 7.

Tonight would be pretty tough to take. They are right there. Beating the Cavs and ending James' reign of terror would be worth a lot to me seeing I live in Cavs country....I mean James country.

I am just so gun shy to believe they can get it done because of how many times he has ended Boston. Ready to just get this going.

Cannot believe all the genuflection to James. F them all. Going to have to mute the sound so I don't have to listen to Jackson and JVG slobber over the drama queen either.

Hold Lebron to under 30 and I think Boston wins comfortably. If he isn't hitting 3s...I think Boston win comfortably.

In 2008, after a tough and emotionally exhausting Game 7 against the Cavs, the Celtics Monkey retired. Today he is coming out of retirement to grace us with luck. Thank you Celtics Monkey.

PS. I’d post a picture but I don’t know how to do that using the iPad.

That 2010 Game 7 loss really hit me hard because that game was taken from the Celtics they didn't lose it.  They were up 6 going into the 4th quarter and the Lakers were given 21 free throws in the quarter to just 6 for the Celtics.  I truly believe that the refs did not want Rasheed (noted ref hater) to win that championship and did all they could to stop it.  It still irritates me when I think about it!!!
