Yes, I had to create a new thread for this. WE DEMAND ANSWERS!  >:(

Getting killed on the boards and with Cleveland getting second chance points almost every other time down, and Baynes practically sits out the 4th? Is he hurt or something?

And Horford struggled for the most part and Monroe didn't help. Ugh.

He was in at the end. Yabu and semi might also be able to rebound or box out Nance jr...

Should have been there in the middle of the 4th!

Lebron missed like 3 shots and all of them got tipped back in or dunked back by Nance SMH.

15-5 on offensive rebounds alone. When you shoot over 50% from the field, you are not supposed to be outrebounded by double digits.

I fully believe the Cs would have come all the way back had they been able to secure a couple of those rebounds and keep pushing the pace. They had the Cavs on their heels; unfortunately it looked like the Cs were in high heels by leaving the lane wide open for continuous tip ins.

Did you notice how Kevin Love was out of the game after his head to head collision with Tatum?

Cleveland went small after that, only 1 big man on the floor at all times with Green/LBJ getting all the PF minutes however you want to call it.

He went to Monroe because we were struggling to score I think and wanted some more offense on the court during that stretch. But that's why Baynes wasn't in the game much at all, CLE went small.

The real answer is when they're going small Horford has to be better. He killed the Cavs small lineup in games 1 and 2 for the most part, this game he did not.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.

I thought the same thing. I just did nit get Monroe in there. We had a chance to steal the game. Sunday he better play even if Thompson is on the pine.

Horford needed to rest/sit more because he wasn't doing well. Baynes should have still been in. Brad missed that.

This is easy to say in retrospect.  Neither one of them played well.  It's not unreasonable to think that Horford has a better chance of getting it going (and certainly a greater impact if he does) than Baynes.

It didn't work out for us.  But IMO the takeaway is that Horford needs to have a greater impact on the game, not that Brad made a mistake playing him over Baynes.

Horford needs to play Nance and Baynes should almost always be on Thompson. The second and third chance points are killing us. I expect brad to adjust and I assume they will rebound better at home.

Hitting some free throws would have helped too.
