http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/23595163/cleveland-lebron-james-houston-james-harden-unanimously-voted-all-nba-first-team

Davis, Durant, and Lillard join James and Harden on the 1st team

2nd Team - Westbrook, DeRozan, Giannis, Aldridge, Embiid

3rd Team - Curry, Oladipo, George, Butler, and Towns

Edit: By making the 3rd Team, Towns is eligible for the larger 188 million dollar extension.  Embiid, by not making the 1st team, lost nearly 30 million dollars based on a clause in his contract.  His contract is now 146.5 million instead of 175.7 million had he made the 1st team.  Davis, by making the 1st team, is now eligible for the supermax, which will be 5 years approximately 230 million.

No Celtics.
Poor evaluation.

Lillard should not be First-Team.

I suppose Kyrie missed too much time, but maybe Horford Third-Team?

Seems pretty contradictory to say Celtics have no elite players AND Brad is overrated, no?

1 win from an NBA Finals appearance with zero players on an All-NBA team.

That's darn impressive.

Really strange year for the C.F. teams.  Boston has 0, Cleveland and Houston only have 1, and even the vaunted Golden State only managed 2.

Two way play does not seem to matter on the all NBA team. Only Davis, Butler, Oladipo, and
Paul George play both ends. That's way so many "All NBA" players have already gone fishing.

Kyrie played 9 more games than Curry, who made the third team.

No way Dipo should've made it over Kyrie. That's an absolute travesty - better counting stats and percentages AND on the better team!

I guess the fact that Kyrie’s injury was season-ending put him out of mind, I personally don’t understand it but that’s my guess.

I don’t mind Oladipo though, he had a great season and carried Indy better than anyone would have thought. I’m sure Rozier’s success as a starter to end the season also factored into it.

Embiid and Giannis are two way players.

Wow, except changing Giannis and Durant, Zach Lowe nailed the 1st 2 teams

I’m wildly biased, but I think a healthy Celtics team would be competitive against either the second or third team.

Dipo played in 75 games though.  Irving only had 60.  15 games is a lot of points, rebounds, assists, etc.  Couple that with Indiana greatly overachieving and the Celtics not being much worse without Irving, and it is a pretty easy call to go with Oladipo instead of Irving.  Curry only played in 51 games, but he was just so good and the Warriors were so good with him that I can see him being on the 3rd team, though I wouldn't have complained if it was Irving or Paul either or one of the guys that played close to a full season like Beal or Mitchell
