Win tonight and I think they get the series. Lose and I think it will be the Cavs

I think they must have the first quarter lead or be within 3. The starts are hurting them.

win tonight and we live to fight another day. still no guarantee we win game 7. lose tonight and we lose game 6. series over.
Nobody is saying anything about guarantees, just what is most likely.

Season on the line tonight.

Could be great or it could be a major disappointment. (No matter how much we talk about house money)

That Game 5 six years ago remains one of my favorite Celts memories.

Unfortunately, the game that followed it is one of my worst Celtics memories.

Obviously, come out strong and hope CLE is catching their breath a little.  It is going to be tough.  I don't expect that CLE will sleep walk like they did in games 1 and 2.  We just need to put it all on the line and hope that some shots fall.  I think if we play cautious or tactical, we lose.  We need to be a little reckless and hope some big shots go in.  Think 1980, Team USA Hockey.

Feeling good about tonight. Until Cleveland can prove they can beat us at home, I'm not going to panic.
Still don't believe in Joe.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but the season is over.

Charles Barkley predicted that we would win in seven:

Sure, he tries to walk it back a bit by saying that whoever wins tonight will win the series, but Sir Charles is clearly picking us.

It was good while it lasted.

Well, he's got to be right at least once at some point, doesn't he? Everyone gets at least one right even by chance.

Feel pretty at ease & calm about tonight.

Usually a good sign.

The Celtics have to come out with confidence and with the actual belief that yes, we can beat Lebron. Start off fast or at least stay really close with them early (within 3-5 points). Slow starts and increasing deficits early on have killed us the last two games. Hopefully the guys can feed off the Garden energy and start fast. When the going gets tough, especially on the road, you can see the Cavaliers players turn on each other (like in the Indiana series, and even this series, Games 1 and 2).

Our biggest downfall on Monday night IMHO was the dumb, stupid plays we made throughout the game each time we got it somewhat close, as well as the missed dunks and open layups early. Convert those, and we should be good tonight. Smart and Morris need to stop jacking up iso-shots and make the wise decisions on the court. Make the extra passes to the open guy, and knock it down! My gut feeling tells me Smart redeems himself tonight and Morris tightens up his defense on Lebron (hopefully staying out of foul trouble as well). We NEED Scary Terry tonight. He's been scary at home, and it needs to continue if we want to win tonight. Getting 20+ from Brown again would be nice, and getting it from Tatum for the 1st time this series would be ideal.

The key to this game will be the Horford/Baynes vs. Love/Thompson front court battle. I'm sure CBS has made some adjustments and as long as we hold that match up to a draw, I like our chances tonight. Let Lebron get his 40+, so long as we contain and hound all their other threats (Korver, JR, Green, etc.). That's how we won Games 1 and 2, but unfortunately we allowed them to get hot at the Q. Just play with confidence, make the right plays, limit the turnovers, play with grit/hustle and beat them in transition. Really nervous, but cautiously optimistic too. Biggest game of the season but love the fact that it's in the friendly confines of TD Garden.

Well, I started the morning with something I have not done in years, broke glass by mistake- Knocked a glass right off the counter by accident. How does one reverse a bad omen? I went to the wine store just now but not sure that is going to reverse it.

Each minute today is slower then the last. I cannot wait as usual but my morning start did not sit well with me.

Cleveland's crowd was awful, can't wait to see and hear the Garden crowd tonight, from home, on my tv.

Lol NBA pundits are so reactionary. After game 2 everyone was riding Boston, now everyone is back to saying Cleveland is favored tonight.  ::)
