I honestly expected we'd lose Game 3, but win a close Game 4.

But they better make a ton of adjustments for Game 4. Tonight was putrid.

I remember we lost Game 3 to the Cavs in 2010, in a blown out fashion at the TD Garden.

We need to win Game 4 no matter what.

Ha haha ha... right the Celtics can’t handle pressure. That is why they caved in game seven against Milwaukee. Or failed against the 26 point lead by Houston during the season.

Cavs are legit playing like the first time they got Larry Nance Jr, Jordan Clarkson, Rodney Hood, and George Hill.

And that game was a blowout at the TD Garden.

It helps that they are playing in their home court. But it was more about Celtics not putting an effort than Cavs figuring it out.

well Horford only got 4 shots in 3 quarters tonight.
That just isn't enough.  That is something we can fix.

Jaylen got into early foul trouble guarding lebron.
That can be fixed, start Morris on him.  Bring Jaylen onto him later as we did in the other games.

It can’t be fixed unless we bench brown for Morris.  And it’s exactly how we started game 2.

Jaylen didn't start on James in game 2.

I have the game recorded.  100% he started on James.  That’s the only option when Clev goes big.

Okay, so I just went back and fast forwarded through the game, because I was recalling the same thing about Morris guarding James MUCH more than Brown.

Technically, droop is right - Jaylen did in fact start guarding James. So my apologies there.

However, that literally only lasted 2-3 possessions, and after those possessions Morris guarded him the rest of the way when both Morris and Brown were in. Morris even started the second half on James instead of Brown.

So, yes, technically he did start on him, but the point of our argument is the same - Morris has been much better on James (leading to our defense being much better overall allowing others to be shut down) and has largely been the primary defender on James, even in game 2.

Why it has changed to Brown being the primary defender on James and not Morris is still in question and an error by the coaching staff. All that did was put Brown in foul trouble and essentially take him out of the rest of the game mentally.
