What about trading Kyrie for Aldridge and one of S.A.'s young point guards, White or Murray?

Kawhi and A.D. get mentioned all the time, but is that feasible without giving up additional players?

If we let Baynes walk, Aldridge could step in at center. He has a reasonable contract compared to what Kyrie will command.

Is he just too old?

Rozier   White/Murray
Brown Smart
Hayward Morris
Tatum  (Aldridge) Yabusele/Ojeleye
Horford   Aldridge   Theis

8 players in bold being the key rotation players.

Why do you want Aldridge when we have Horford?

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
I don't see Danny Moving KI This summer. I am hopefully Smart will sign for less like AB did and get years if that happens we go with same team. Baynes will take MLE.

So get A center with no range in his shot even though we’re the age of wing domination and 3 pt importance ... lol

although I don’t think ki gets traded, I wonder strongly if Baynes opened a market. The 76ers are one team who can probably give him a bigger deal

Kyrie is nearly 7 years younger.  No thanks.

Celtics have a plan and aren’t going to deviate from it.

More positionless basketball where switches aren’t an issue. Horford is a quick center who can guard most players on the court, bigger and smaller. After him, there are a bunch of guys who can also guard 2-4. Tatum, Brown, Morris, eventually Hayward, etc can all defend AND stretch the floor with the three-ball

There was a big stink when we signed AB that we overpaid him.  Danny paid more to get AB signed for longer, not the other way around.
I'm bitter.

No, he's not just too old.  He's also not good enough to give up Kyrie for.
I'm bitter.
