Not psyched with SAC potentially getting the most NBA-ready prospect ever, but the pick should still be solid, regardless.

Just happy that PHI didn't get #1 and CLE didn't move up.

disaster for our kings pick

Wow, you guys are really overrating these players.  No one in this draft is going to make the Kings a contender for the 8th seed in the West next year.   No one.  They're still going to be terrible.
Non playoffs, sure.  But big difference between #3 and #9, which wouldn’t move the needle very much.

Imagine telling the greatest basketball franchise in the world you don't want them to draft you because of playing time, and then being happy about being on the worst team in the NBA and getting the #1 pick while your replacement breaks records in the ECF.

Doncic to the Kings.  Probably won't move the needle bigtime in year one, right?

No idea, but good for the Kings.  That franshise has been a mess, but I've had a soft spot for them since they were robbed by the refs and Lakers.  That was unbelievable.

Another factor may be how their salary situation plays out.  If their two players with player options (Shumpert and Temple) opt in -- which I would think they will given neither would likely make more as FAs -- that doesn't leave room for a top FA and Sac will probably be best off clearing salary.

Hopefully, they'll be pretty bad for at least another year...

If anyone wants a good laugh, check into the Cavs forums:

“LeBron is gone.

Hopefully we have scouted well and can steal a Mitchell or Booker”

“I would be a whole lot less upset if the Kings and Bulls had got the picks they were supposed to get now we will have to sit here knowing forever 1 more loss by the Nets might have netted us that Kings pic”

Absolutely rigged. The NBA clearly wanted to give the top players to money-making meccas like Phoenix, Sacramento and Arizona.  ::)

ESPN has Porter dropping to CLE at 8.

He could end up being the best player in the draft.

His game reminds me of Tatum's, only he is 6'10".

Don't write that pick off yet.

whatever team takes young or Bamba over porter is really bad at scouting. The back issues are worth risking cuz  he’s that good
