I love that we have more length and athletic ability now and it has really helped our match ups with teams.

I didn't get to see the game.  Listened to parts on the radio.  In looking at the box score, a couple of things jumped out at me.  We had 11 OReb (Smart had 3) and 5 TO as compared to 8 OReb and 15 TO for Cleveland.  That is plus 13 possessions.

Pretty good considering they started Thompson in part because he get offensive rebounds.  Jeff Green had 5 TO and LeBron had 6.  Smart was +21.

This is an amazing run by the Celtics.  I have been watching the NBA a long time, never seen a team this young (including the coach) do this well.

Brown won that game for us. Most teams get blown out in the first quarter and never recover but Brown was tough and relentless. He kept us in the game holding the deficit to only 5 points which helped us from having to come back from 20 which looked like the case in the first 5 minutes!

I was at the game last night and all I can tell you is my ears still hurt.  The Garden faithful has been bringing it this post-season.

I agree about the crowd. I thank you and the rest of the crowd for the noise. It's fantastic. And the F U JR chant is something you have to love even though there are many kids at the game but the passion of our crowd is over the top.

I wanted to comment on this exact same thing regarding Jaylen Brown. The Celtics took LeBron's best punch in the first quarter, and because of Brown's aggressiveness and ability to score, he was able to help the team keep the game within reach. I believe it helped break the Cavs will, when they looked up at the end of the first quarter and they only had a 4 point lead. Also, the Marcus Smart hustle towards the end of the second quarter, that lead to a quick 4 points, may have been the nail in the coffin for game 2.

Yeah, Brad Stevens said in one of his recent interviews that goal is to make what is normally a 12-0 run into a 12-5 run. Brown helped with that in the 1st.
