The worst thing is that now everything will be interpreted with betting in mind.

Like the whole thing with NBA trying to fix the draft or play off games in order to get more profit wasn't enough

Tons of betting already, this just lowers the barrier and allows individual owners to get more money. Casino/Stadium pairing are going to be more and more common.

Tons of betting already, this just lowers the barrier and allows individual owners to get more money. Casino/Stadium pairing are going to be more and more common.
Adam Silver has been pushing for this for awhile, because he wants the betting that is going to occur no matter what to be regulated and for the NBA to get a piece of the action.
