The Confetti Game goes right up there with the balloon game and Havlicek stole the ball and Bird stole the ball and all of those great Celtics moments!

I always thought it  was ridiculous for teams  to do confetti for these random playoff games

Glad it finallly backfired

What a perfect illustration though. Celebrating their arrival prematurely and thinking playoff wins would be handed to them based on talent and social media popularity. Will they learn their lesson? Doesn't appear so. Simmons, after his one point outburst, wouldn't give the Celtics credit. Neither would loudmouth Embiid. A humbling exit would do them a world of good, but it seems that lesson will go wasted on this bunch.

Beautifully backfired and now it's part of Celtics lore.

Maybe they were throwing the confetti for us? They knew we would pull off the win... They just used the wrong color confetti. If so that's great sportsmanship

If not, they deserve 2 technical fouls. 1 for delay of game and another for unsportsmanlike conduct lol

Didn't The Celtics break up Philly's last playoff team and start the "Process"?

It's only "The Confetti Game" if the C's take care of the series.   Need 4.

That seems virtually assured.  C’’s in 5.

I think game 4 the Celtics come out loose and The Sixers come out tight. I originally predicted Celtics in 5 but I'd be surprised if this series comes back to Boston.
