Now that is an astute fan.

Looked at Jason Tatum today and it is clear his body has not fully developed yet...he still looks like a teenager and you can tell he has not participated in some of the strength and conditioning used by young folks now. This kid is going to be phenomenal once he grows into his body and gets an NBA strength program.

If he takes as big a step in his game from rookie to sophomore as Jaylen has, my goodness.

At barely 20 years old, the skill and mentality he possesses are jaw-dropping.

It's always interesting to see other blogs that allow swearing and rampant personal attacks.  It definitely makes me appreciate the rules here.

90% of the comments in that thread are pure garbage.  There's like maybe a handful or so of actual insightful comments.  I realize it's not a fair comparison to compare the forums here to the game thread over there, but even the front page on CB has a better tenor and more substance than that crap.

The game turned around in the first half, when Monroe played those few minutes---Philly stopped playing defense for some reason.....Great move by Brad.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

I found it hilarious scrolling through them. Cursing doesn’t bother me, but their reactions were priceless. The ebb and flow of their emotions from the good start to the 22 point lead, to blowing it instantaneously, to regrouping and taking a lead in the fourth, to Horford blowing past Embiid for the win. Entertaining stuff.

my favorite

"Problem is

Boston has two superstars out and their kids are kicking our ---. I’m afraid we are gonna be behind again like the 80s."

After horford makes  that last epic bucket:

"How do you let him get a layup, Embiid? Who cares if you foul out?!? The game is over because of that layup. "

"ffs embiid just watches that dagger go in"

"The scary thing about the Celtics is that if someone like Anthony Davis becomes available during the next three years, they easily have the best collection of disposable assets to trade. Sixers of course have two offseasons to try to land a big fish in free agency."

This is insane, I was hoping for a comeback when we were down 22 but thought we would fall short at the end... and yet we made a massive comeback and got all the plays we needed at the end. Wow. Morris hit some huge shots, it was way overdue ! Kudos to Tatum and everybody, really, especially JB and his crazy dunks considering his health. I think we have the mental edge on the Sixers now, you could tell in Embiid's and Simmons' postgame pressers that they are saying all the things they're supposed to say but look shaken.

Getting game 3 would definitely put the hammer down on them, I hope the troubles we went through in Milwaukee will have the team prepared to get their "killer" mentality from tipoff. If Philly is running after the score all game long we should have a big advantage - and I hope Brett Brown doesn't play McConnell more, he killed us in game 2 and was way better than Simmons.

Great win!
It made my wake night worth.
McConnell played well pressing the ball and hitting shot jumpers but take in account that he played against our 2nd unit, without Al on the floor. I think that playing CJ above Ben would look like a dog that's walking with a tail between his legs. It would be their white flag.

Congratulations to all that stayed through the game....I turned away at 45-24 hoping that would spark the Cs ....when I saw that I he Cs came back in the third...I decided to sit this one out..Watching the game now on DVR.

GO CELTICS!!
I turned it off after the 1st quarter, MY LOSS.

What an amazing team.  Best coach in the league, one that actually makes a difference in a 'players league'.

After watching the game, interviews, and analysis a second time, I was struck by BS talking about Monroe being a big reason the Cs turned the game around. You look at the game tape you'll see him going to the hole and doing the same stuff he always does. Down 16 when he enters the game, that moves up to 22, and back down to 13 six minutes later. Not much of a change, but the Cs kids went from running around with their heads cut off to running the offense again; from bleeding profusely to competing.

The next 2+ minutes the Cs make a run that made it a game again and obviously demoralized them. So, while Monroe hasn't played much in this series, he was big tonight and gets an unsung hero award.

Jayson Tatum (20 years, 61 days) is now the youngest player to ever score 20+ PTS in 4 straight playoff games. The previous youngest was Kobe Bryant (20 years, 272 days) who accomplished that feat in 1999. @EliasSports

Every player interview and Brad Stevens multiple times credited the fans at the Garden with helping win that game. Thank you and congrats to all you fans at the game. Way to ROCK!!!

Does anyone have a youtube video of Kevin Hart when the Celts put the game away? The little punk laughing at missed free throws and laughing at fans and getting up and walking around acting tough when the 76ers were up. Did he run off the court fast at the end of the game?
