Listening to Stevens, it doesn't sound as good for Brown as the tweet had suggested.

What did he say?

Great effort and performance by pretty much everyone who saw the floor tonight.

Beyond the obvious guys, I'll give special credit to Baynes tonight.

Really happy to see this group win a series.
Yup

What did he say?

That he was only available for emergency purposes, and he would not want to risk it with hamstrings. His facial expression suggested it may be something that takes time to recover, and he said he does not know if Brown will be available for Monday.

Grade 1 hamstring strain. He might be ready for game 1. It could take anywhere from a couple of days to a week to heal on average.

Yeah, game 1 on Monday would be a pretty quick turnaround. I’m expecting him to sit game 1 with the expectation of playing game 2 on Thursday.

Good test for the C's medical staff. If you get him to recover quickly, he's good for game 1. If you push too hard, you risk to lose him for the rest of the playoffs.

Hopefully this is why his shot was so off tonight, and not the nerves of a game 7.

Is it just me, or is this a fairly ignorant and dumb comment by Giannis given that (a) we beat them fair and square over a seven game series, but more importantly (b) they were virtually completely healthy while we were missing our two best players, a solid rotation big, and our best defender for the first four games?

it's a very ignorant statement, but giannis has proven to be an ignorant person.. For example... He believes cupping therapy is beneficial even though it's been proven to be scientifically bad not good

"There is no good evidence it has any benefit on health and there are some concerns it may be harmful"

Practicing surgeon David Gorski claims, "it’s all risk for no benefit. It has no place in modern medicine"

Critics of alternative medicine such as Harriet Hall, Mark Crislip, Simon Singh and Edzard Ernst have characterized cupping as "pseudoscience nonsense", "a celebrity fad", and "gibberish". They've stated that there is no evidence that cupping works any better than a placebo. Pharmacologist David Colquhoun writes that cupping is "laughable... and utterly implausible

And we lost Jaylen for the second half of game 7. Give the opponent some respect and show some class Giannis!

He also is largely at fault for their loss tonight. He had way too many turnovers and missed shots in the second half when they needed him. Semi shut him down. He could at least give Semi some props.

That would probably be the safer play. But every game is really important and if you lose game 1 at home that's a tough start. We need every body, especially against a team with Phili's length. So we'll see

He's just shooked that a depleted team beat them.

I’d be surprised to see him play before game 3 or 4. Hammies are very tricky.

Hopefully this is why his shot was so off tonight, and not the nerves of a game 7.

You might argue that the C's medical staff already failed.  They cleared Brown to play after some sideline work in the 3rd quarter (according to TNT staff).  Thankfully Brad was smart and cautious enough to sit Brown against his wishes.  It could very well have prevented significant further damage.  Can't mess around with hammy injuries.

If the Bucks couldn’t beat THIS Celtics team, good luck the next decade. Giannis would have to become Ray Allen from behind the arc and they better bring in Popovich if they want to compete with a healthy Celtics squad.

I think I heard a week or two ago that Celtics could become first team in like 45 years or something absurd to win a series without their leading scorer playing a single minute.
