Tatum needs to do the Freak imitation,  take your man inside alot more

And hesitate if you don't see a direct path the basket?  Too bad, the league has not decided to market Tatum like they have the Freak.   He would get a lot more FTAs to boost his stats and be able to travel and push off every play.

Tatum's a rook. Giannis isn't.

Giannis averaged 3.8 FTs per 36 his rookie year. 4.9 his second. Now that's up to 8.4. That's what happens when you (1) learn how to play the pro game and (2) get to be part of the Jordan Rules.

Guess how many FT's Tatum averaged his rookie year? You got it. The exact same number as Giannis - 3.8. Tatum will eventually get his too.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

For most of the series, Tatum was having trouble with the more intense defense of the playoffs.  However, he never forced his shot if it wasn’t there. Yes, he needs to work on finishing at the rim in a more deceptive way, a bit predictable at this point.

The biggest thing is the growth that will come from his rookie playoff experience.

Brad doesn’t think terms of traditional positions, but I think a lot of us want to see Tatum eventually play the 4 where he can take advantage of less agile bigs.  This also puts GH at the 3 and JB at the 2. That’s their most talented lineup with Kyrie at point and Horford at the 5.

Couldn't agree more.  Tatum at the 4 is ideal for this team going forward.  It's encouraging that he is willing to play through contact against stronger players.  We should expect Tatum to follow in the footsteps of Durant when it comes to strength.  Durant gradually added 25 lbs over the course of his first 6 seasons without losing any of his quickness.

Very few players his age get the opportunity to start 80+ games on a 55-win team and then be relied on in the playoffs.

Nobody could have ever expected this from him so soon.

Tatum really impressed me especially in 4th quarter. Attacking the basket. Beautiful.

I'm taking issue with it being called "best game of the season".
