I'm not someone who advocates for dirty play,
:-\  :o Then why are you advocating for it lol.

There are many ways to describe this Celtics team, but I don't think we're lacking for guys willing to mix it up in a physical game.

To retaliate. What? You want the C's to go out there and get beaten up? PUH-LEASE. Marcus Smart and the others should not stand for that nonsense. FIGHT BACK! (Yeah I'm pumped up)

Somehow I don't think Terry, Marcus, Marcus the larger, and Baynes are going to shrink from getting into it.

They certainly didn't last night. Honestly other than Bledsoe's nonsense it wasn't dirty, just not called consistently.

It was a terrible call. Last night’s crew was bad overall, with the Bucks getting plenty of benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, on a loose ball, the refs called the ball off of Horford when it was clearly off one of the Bucks players about 3 plays prior down on the Bucks end. That play had just as much impact (ball staying with the offense when it should have gone the other way), but nobody is talking about that.

As usual, most people are considering only the last minute or two of the game instead of the whole thing.

I agree with the Bucks - watching on TV, I clearly heard the buzzer before it left Horford's hands - still cannot believe they missed that
so did i, but i read someplace (forgive, i forget where) that the buzzer and clock were not aligned. if so, then perhaps the refs followed the clock/scoreboard light and not the buzzer?

or, what i read might just simply be a crock of crap.  ;D

has anyone else heard the above?

It was a violation...but as one sided as the calls have been against Boston this series...I don't really feel bad for them. Technically this series should be over after the game 4 missed calls...

There’s no question the refs missed that one. It was a bad non-call but apparently isn’t reviewable (much like all the free throws GA takes over 10 seconds to shoot).

But, Celtics didn’t score off of that. So yes, we took the clock down further but there was still plenty of time.

Celtics were admittedly robbed of two free throws that led to three points by the Bucks and I believe they said the game-winning tip-in by them should’ve been waived off too.

So.... shaddddup Bucks!

Could you give me the link regarding the game-winning tip please?

Thanks,

Who cares.  They missed a ton of calls in the last game that swung the outcome.  Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.e happens and I'm glad the C's got one in their favor.

I think the Marcus they need to worry about more is Morris, not Smart.

Last 2 Minute report from Game 5 confirmed missed 24-second violation and — to add salt to the wounds of Bucks fans — league also says Horford should have been called for travel before the shot.

Game 4 Jaylen Brown's arm says hello.

No one wants to hear this because the Celtics always get the calls so this is just "payback".

Seriously, Bucks fans and the rest of the NBA forgot about this call because of the 24 second violation.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

this was decided before the series started by the NBA/refs that this was going to be a 7 game series. which means there will be no reason to watch thurs. night.

lost in all of this is no one mentioned the flagrant foul that should have been called on thon maker for hitting rozier in the face or the 4 fouls on one play by Bledsoe that weren't called.

this next game is going to be unwatchable... unless they hold off on the bad officiating until game 7.

There was also the play earlier in the game where on replay the ball was shown to go off of a Milwaukee player's arm. The ball was given to Milwaukee due to the bad call, and Parker immediately hit a long 2.
