Suppose next year we trot out Horford (43%), Irving (41%, Tatum (43%), Brown (40%) and Hayward (37%).It's the best 3 point shooting lineup in NBA history right? Who's been better?
That's definitely a great starting 5 that can shoot the 3 but I rememver those Nash Suns teams could shoot the 3 like crazy. Nash, Johnson, Barbosa, Thomas, Bell, Jones, House, even Marion and Diaw could shoot around 33-34%
Too often, we judge other groups by their worst examples while judging ourselves by our best intentions.
Cavs have started a number of lineups this year where Lebron and his 37% is the weakest shooter on the floor (the Hill, Calderon, Korver, James, Love lineup has been particularly sharp shootery, though that made only like a game or 2 as the starting 5 because of the injuries).

Calderon and Korver trying to keep their men in front of them before they get to the rim protection of Kevin Love? Lol

https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/CLE/2018_start.htmlHill, Calderon,Korver,James,Love as a starting lineup never happened the entire season. So the posters who use that as an example are 100% incorrect.
