If we were to put together the below package, how high do you think it could get us in this year's draft? Could it get us Ayton?

Jaylen
Rozier
SAC 18
Memphis pick
Any other picks we could add (no other really good ones)
Any of Yabu, Semi, Theis, Larkin, Bird etc..

Goal - Ayton

2018 Lineup
Kyrie
Hayward
Tatum
Hortford
Ayton

What a lineup!

Thats way too much for Ayton.. wayyyyyyyyy too much
The Sac pic will be top 5, and memphis could very well be the worst team in the NBA for the foreseeable future.

Keep Brown+lottery tickets over one lottery ticket imo

Jaylen would be close to pick #10 in this years draft
SAC and MEM picks are NO gaurantees. We would be trading for the #1 pick, not a chance at it. It is MUCH more valuable

I don't see how this is too much unless you are one of the many who extremely over value Jaylen

Really? Jaylen is an elite defender who has shown NBA-level scoring punch.

What a lineup!

YOu vastly over-value Ayton. How much did you watch him play? He disappears long stretches.  Questionable how much value he brings to NBA team.  Not a Davis type at all.

This could be true. I watched him play a few times. But from everything I've seen and read, he seems to be a Towns/Embid type of pick, and thats where Im valuing him. So if he is not that caliber in your opinion that yes I am over valuing him.

But if he is, I think the proposal is good

Brown at his current age and skill level would be a very high pick in this draft.

I dont really know how to say this other than you are wrong. This may be your opinion, but it is factually inaccurate. First of all, Jaylen is worth alot more than the #10 pick, besides Ayton and Doncic there is nobody in this draft who I would rather have than Jaylen and even with those two I'm not ruling out thtaat Jaylen willl end up a better overall player. He would net somewhere 3-7 in this draft, depending on how in love you are with the second teir of propsects. And besides all that the rest is a vast overpay. This is a classic case of overvaluing a prospect.

I agree Brown is worth up to pick 3 alone.

What did C's get for Fultz? Tatum (pick 3) and a protected "lottery projected pick".

So I'd say that would mean Kings pick and Brown. Maybe add in Rozier but that's about it unless you are willing to accept overpaying.

Nothing against Ayton, but there is no need to expend so many assets to get him. We'd be fine with our version of "Clint Capela" that can play defense, move Horford to the 4 and doesn't demand the ball... just finish lobs. I think some interesting options can be had in the teens or twenties. Personally, I have my eye on Mitchell Robinson

Ayton is a very tough call. He has the tools to become a HOF generational center. He also might not end up being as good as Carter, Bamba or Jackson.

Your deal sounds like a severe overpay, but I will admit there is a chance that Ayton will be that good.

I do believe the C's have moved on from the swing for the fences phase of the rebuild. We don't have to be lucky any more. We just need to make good choices at this point.

I would be willing to offer Rozier, Sac pick and Bos/Clipper pick.  Plus some 2nd round filler.
