Barbara Bush is in failing health, and is declining medical care.  Itís unclear how long she will live at this point.  Whenever her time comes, I hope she finds peace and joy waiting for her.

I met her a couple of times; she struck me as gracious and kind. Especially in the political arena, the world could use more Barbara Bushes.

She was announced to be on end-of-life care but is still alive.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

Yeah I can't find any news saying she has passed.  Evidently there was a fake cnn site that said she passed.  I don't know why anyone would do that kind of crap.

Either way, I know how hard the last days of someone with COPD can be, my mom passed away from COPD last year.  Hopefully she can be made as comfortable as possible and she has her family with her.  Def seems like she was a strong woman and loyal and loving to her family - two things that are always admirable.

A much better Firsy Lady than her husband and son were presidents. Met her once. She is just a jewel of a human being caring about people first, and politics last. She always wanted what was best for someone, whatever that may mean. I give her mad respect and will be saddened when she is gone.

I didn't vote for her husband (in retrospect, I wish I had) but I'd give my left arm for GHWB and Barbara to be White House denizens today.   Barbara always smart, gracious and devoted to her family.

RIP Barbara Bush.  You never really know these people -- but you think you do.  And I think she was a great person.
