HOFer and the Sixers all time leading scorer passed away over the weekend.  He was 81.  He was a part of the great Sixers' teams in the 60's (including the 68 win title team).
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I am old enough to remember him play. Those sixers teams were formidable. RIP.

I became avid Celtic fan in 1966-67 season when Philly went 68-13 and knocked out Celtics in 5 games, if memory serves me. Wilt Chamberlain got most of credit but Hal Greer was a great piece of that team.

RIP Hal Greer. Thanks for the memories, even the bad ones.
