Rockets and GSW play terrible offense

pure isolation

Celts offense seems so much more advanced

But the Cs though can get iso happy at times specially when they are pressed. Morris is usually the culprit.
But as long as Brad is the coach, most of our iso's are just match up exploitation,, and it really does not happen until after 4 or 5 passes or swing of the ball.

getting pretty chippy at the end of this game.  tech by Durant shoving harden out of bounds, now Green shoved Ariza.

Tech on Durant was for the late call.  Green OTOH gave Ariza a 2 handed shove in open court which warranted a Flagrant 1.

GSW looked tired at the end.  Other than Durant who had 36 by the end of the 3rd (but only 2 in the 4th), Curry looks like a shell of his normal self, Klay T threw up bricks and Green was pretty much a non-factor.  Even their bench (Iggy, Livingston, etc.) played with little fire.

Houston has a legit shot at upsetting the GSW

Until Rockets can prove they can get a win in GS, I think this is GS in 6.

They'll get their chance.  Next 2 are in Oakland.  If they can get a split on the road, this series could go the distance with game 7 at Houston.

My point was, "don't sleep" on the Rockets.

I do not understand how they are calling these “hard fouls” in the playoffs.

Figure out how it’s going to be called and make it uniform. There is no way you can look at the Derozan (Flagrant-2), Smith (Flagrant-1), and tonight’s Green (common) foul and think they were that different.

If anything, Derozan’s could have been interpreted as a play on the ball and made unnecessary contact. The other two were graded lower and were clearly intentional with no play on the ball. Add to it the possibility of injury to Horford while in the air and that’s a dangerous play.

I just don't understand as to why teams don't help off of those two guys. Dudes can't score, lol.

Man, we could really beat the Rockets.
6 wins till championship have me thinking.
We have the best Harden defender in Smart,
we have the smartest coach,
we have the coach on the floor.
We have the goods if the Rockets win the west.

this game means nothing to GSW, remember how they allowed Pels to destroy them their first game in their place? IMO GSW got the win to steal home court adv and they put in max effort to get, now they can just win at home and not be worried. g2 letdown.

I dont think you/we are giving the rockets enough credit. This is a 67 win team. They are MUCH better than the Pelicans

Don’t know if they can pull it off but Boston would match up really well with g State

Hate to sound pessimistic, but Golden State would overwhelm us and win in 5.

Now if we played HOU... I think we actually got a chance to take them in 6.

Of course though, first got to win the Cleveland series! (Long way to go still)

That's my feeling as well. We got a shot against Houston. The Rockets would crush us though.

The Rockets would crush us? With our defense we could smother their ISO-ball for the most part IMO.

Not guaranteeing we beat them but we got a solid chance still.

You forget that the Celtics have one of the best records at the Oracle arena against this iteration of Golden State.

Yeah, as long as the Celtics got some all-star point guard starting for the Celtics they have a solid record at Oracle Arena.

Let's settle for beating the Cavs first because that's clearly not a given.

That was a brutal end of the quarter for Houston.

Didn't score in final 4 minutes, and GSW went on a run. Also, 4 turnovers from HOU in that span.

Houston's probably lucky to only be down 9, but if they want to have a chance tonight at Oracle Arena, they better start this 2nd quarter strong.

So this is the playoff game where Harden and CP3 both struggle mightily and we hear about them being chokers again lol.

Steph Curry has been struggling all series and he's struggling again tonight, and yet HOU can't take advantage.
