And it's over.

I don't think anybody saw that coming.

AD should have the MVP award locked up. Nobody can say he never won a playoff series anymore.

Bummer Miami couldn't pull out the win today.

I've been rooting for Miami because it would have been nice to see them upset the media darling Sixers.  I just don't like that team, or their arrogant fans (especially all the closet Sixers fans on this site).  Also, I always have liked watching Wade, so seeing him make one last playoff run would have been cool

Oh well, looks like we'll have to listen to more pathetic Sixers hype for a while.
The Sixers fans on this site aren't closet fans. They've come out of the closet and shown themselves to be full fledged Sixer fans, over and over again.

Of course the Celts are in arguably just as good a position and only sucked for one season.

From recent comments you wouldn’t think so.

The MVP voting already happened. Postseason play doesn't affect the MVP award.
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

It should though, and either way, those arguments about AD not winning a playoff series are now dead.

Twolves pulling away late here. They really want this one. Even the vaunted Rockets won't escape without at least one loss in the 1st round.

Yeah. But this doesn't change whether or not he has the MVP locked up. If he had it locked up, we would have been saying that before the playoffs started.

The crowd in Utah has lost their collective mind.  It's like watching a Turkish game when they set the stadium on fire.

Utah has been one of the hotter teams in the nba since the all star break
they were like 18-5 or something like that...

Would they just get destroyed by Houston?
