I'm a Mitchell fan, but I think this is corny.  Though if Tatum did it, I'd probably think it's clever.

It's true. No way Simmons or Griffin should have/had won ROY. The experience of being around NBA players and coaches is a huge advantage

of course the word playing is in the definition and this is the first year Simmons played so I'm not so sure it actually helps his argument as much as he thinks.  Though we had a whole thread on this, so I don't want to bring it up here again.

Mitchell had a great year. But Simmons is going to be a transformative player. A few years from now I suspect the comparisons will seem silly.
