Nader really sucks. Can we cut him to make Bird available for playoffs?
Maybe I'm seeing things but Nader did not seem fully committed in passing the ball to Bird. Hope I'm wrong....

Nader = Leadkiller

He is not the reason we lost by any means, we did not try to win.  But he is horrible and selfish, won't play D, and turnover prone what is to like?

Stevens decided to practice tanking in case in the future he is on a rebuilding team. That's the only thing that makes any sense of those 4th quarter lineups....lol.
Started following the box score online during the 4th and thought it had to be tanking or a tryout. But doesn't Atlanta winning slightly help our potential draft picks?
Not at all. How do you figure?

I thought the lineup at the end of the game was weird. And then I thought maybe if Atlanta wins the other teams that we want to tank will be one game closer in the lottery odds. I only followed box, so was more or less asking.

Just trying to keep the win total as low as possible so it's easier for Brad to extend his consecutive season improvement streak next year.  The winner's tank.

That is literally the only reason I can think of why Brad put out such a putrid line-up to end the game (not including poor Monroe). I guess it's possible he hates Bud and the Hawks for beating us in the playoffs a couple of years ago and wants them to get as low of a pick as possible.

As for Nader, I can't believe there are people here who are still fans. I get that he is probably a nice enough guy and has worked his way up to this level, but Bird is night and day better then Nader. There is never a time I see him play and think, 'wow - this guy really has potential.' It's like everything he does is wrong...and I actually feel bad for him.

Anyway, lame loss - Brad basically took a huge turd on the fans who showed up for the game. Silver should fine us for not trying to win the game - we essentially did the opposite.

The Celtics still win when they lose, which holds true for the Hawks' case as they're trying to tank haha.

Let's not forget that the Hawks beat the Wizards a few nights ago lol.

And yeah the C's clearly weren't perfect but if they really cared about winning today, they wouldn't have sat practically all their good players and starters in the 4th. They were also missing Morris who you can argue is our 3rd or 4th best player at the moment after the injuries.

I thought it was pretty obvious Brad was playing guys who haven't had a lot of time this year in case they're needed for the playoffs. The C's are locked into the 2 seed so this game didn't matter. It's smart to give bench guys some extra experience and see what they've got.

I wonder if Brad does the same thing against Washington.

We probably have a say in where the wizards end up if we either win or lose to them.
