Well I could see a 1st or 2nd round exit. Bummer, better to get ready for next year and not do what IT did.

Exactly.  This season, with Hayward out was house money anyways.  Lets see if we can lean on Jaylen and Jayson a bit down the stretch here and see if what we can do to et them ready for next season....

Kinda had prepared myself a bit mentally for this but still sucks.

Even without Hayward, I thought everyone else back & healthy on this team could give a clearly susceptible CLE team a run for their money & even end Lebron's stranglehold on the East this year.  Now, without Kyrie, that's not happening.

Brad will have this team fighting to the bitter end.  The good news is, the future is bright around here.  Very very bright.

Looks like my coworkers in Ohio were correct before the season began, they warned me, Kyrie would miss a huge chunk of playing time and they said the knee is worse then we think. I hope that does not turn out to be true going into next year.

This is why Trading Rozier makes zero sense in the offseason- we just don't know for sure Kyrie will be ok for a full season and then beyond. I don't like this at all.

Time for Rozier to shine under the limelight!

Yeah this sucks.  I wonder what changed from 3-6 weeks out and a good result from the surgery to not coming back this year out for the playoffs?

Either way, we have played pretty well without Kyrie in this last stretch (not including the beatdown last night)  I still expect us to compete and hopefully win a playoff series or two.  Hopefully Smart will get back soon.

Awesome.

I'm not even gonna get excited about next season, because who says the team will have better luck with health then? Since KG's knee in '09, the Celtics have had terrible luck with injuries.

Totally sucks. This team will be fortunate to get out of the first round.

I reckon we could still make it out of the first round just fine. From there It's a matter of whether Al Horford and some of the other vets can get the young prodigies to tap into the next level.

Part of me hopes LeBron stays East.  Wanted to be the team that stopped him from getting to the Finals.  Thought the C's had a chance this year.

Banner 18 next year will be bitter sweet after only sweeping the Warriors but not having been able to take out LeBron along the way.  Oh well.
