To add to the can Tatum guard the second biggest player on the court here are the match-ups this year in the east

ATL John Collins
Nets RHJ
Hornets M Williams
Bulls Markkanen
Cavs Love
Pistons Griffin

Pacers T Young
Heat J Johnson
Bucks Giannis
Knicks KP
Magic A Gordon
76ers Saric/Simmons
Raptors Ibaka
Wizards Morris

Out of the other 14 teams in the east I count 3 players who I would worry about Tatum guarding. Love, Griffin, and KP. Giannis and Simmons are obviously tough to defend but Tatum is a better match-up of those two then most teams can provide. KP is almost in the grouping as well. I am fine with the idea of Tatum defending KP for a game. Love and Griffin are the only two that really concern me. Against Love the heavier Hayward may actually be the better match-up. The pistons may be the only eastern team next year that will warrant the Cs starting a big and shifting Brown or Tatum to 6th man for that matchup.
