Future draft picks and big men

Given that the lakers/sac pic is likely going to be 2019
And given that this years draft is big man heavy, and next years likely not...
Would you trade the sac pic and Memphis pick to get into the top of the lottery this year?
Would another gm be willing to swap a bird in hand for two in the Bush?

Not sure you could. That SAC pick next year is top 1 protected, meaning there could be up to a 14% chance we get a pick in the 20's from Phili. And the Memphis pick protections make it difficult to tell where it will convey and may not convey at all until 2021. I think most GM's would prefer the certainty of a top 6 pick (where Bamba, Jackson, Ayton, Bagley will be) to waiting on those picks.
