1 year, $14 million. Lakers.

I agree with something like this.

And no, I won't feel bad for IT making more money next year than I will in a lifetime.

Haha I was just doing the math. Someone is doing well if they make $100k. That's 140 years of work to equal $14m.

Let's say I absolutely kill it next year and make $500k. That's still 28 years to equal one year of salary (assuming he does get as much as $14m).

When will the IT pity party be over?

28 years is absolutely reasonable.  While I don't condone gambling to this extent, you may go for it all in one day.  I'd support you win or lose.

I don't pity Isaiah relative to his salary--I agree that he'll be just fine in life.  But I wish he had a better transition from the Celtics.  He gave our fans a lot and I miss watching the dude play.

I agree that he gave the fans a lot. IT is the man.

I also think it's incorrect that he got screwed by Danny and the Celtics. He was given the opportunity to start on a playoff team after playing in SAC and coming off the bench in PHO.

It is not Danny's fault that IT got hurt. It is not Danny's fault that IT is almost 30. It is not Danny's fault that there are a ridiculous amount of solid PG's in the league. It is also not Danny's fault that Kyrie Irving became available.

At this point, I find it hard to justify that Danny should have paid IT instead of trading for Kyrie.

I think it is time for us to find a new victim. How about fans from one of the 9 teams actively tanking?

1 year deal: $5M

He's in a worse spot than Rondo after the Dallas trade. That max extension will never happen. He's gonna have to prove himself again and again.
