Love looks really good.  If they can get Nance and Hood back healthy plus Korver and may be even Thompson, they are going to be tough to beat in the playoffs

That is your takeaway from them getting smoked on their home floor and giving up 79 points? This honestly reads like satire.
it was a 4 point gane when I posted that and they are still missing 5 of their main players.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Come on, Moranis! This Cavs team plays zero defense. The Cavs are going to wrack up a ton of post season losses and might have a lot of trouble getting to the ECFs because, even if healthy, they are a woeful defensive team. Take off the maroon tinted glasses for once. This isn't the Cavs team of the last three years.
they looked awful on defense last year with worse individual defenders then this year's team has.  People forget they were a bottom 3 defense the entire second half last year.  Now maybe they don't flip that switch or maybe they don't get healthy, but they still have by far the best player in the east

Well it could be a happy night for you. They are on a fierce rally and only down 1 now

They are making all of their shots - mostly 3s. If you didn't know any better, you would think they were incredible.

I realize we may not go far in this year's playoffs, but I really don't want to lose to the Cavs in the playoffs again (in the 2nd round). This game is a must-loss if you are one of those that want them to drop to the 4th spot.

It is a stretch to call Tristan and Cedi main players because I would think they will be fringe rotation players in the playoffs aside from specific matchups. They are only going to play 8 players

I would imagine that would be

Lebron
Love
Nance
Hood
Clarkson
Smith
Korver
Hill

9th
10th and 11th players
Green
Thompson
Odsman

Can't really say they have 11 main guys

Shouldn't it be Raptors ball? Foul away from the ball within 2 minutes? Anyone?

Are the Cavs finally gelling again? Is it time for the panic button, once again?

This was my first thought, too. I have to assume that the foul was considered to not be 'away from the ball' since Lebron was next to the play when he fouled.

As for the game - total bummer. Why Raptors, why??!  :(

At least Brooklyn is winning. If the Cavs are going to be good, I at least want their pick to be bad!

There's no way. Otherwise it would just be a judgement call for the ref of how far you have physically have to be away from the ball. Derozan never even touched the ball.
