Trey Davis had 57 for the Claws vs the Lakeland Magic:

Man, his stroke looks awkward and off-balance,like he's just heaving it up. Undersized? Can he get his shot off in the pros? Looks like he is pretty court-aware and can dish.

What a disappointment by Nader. Make him walk to Portland. Red Claw for life.

Can we give him a 10-day? Do we want to?

Now's the time to do it. Go UMASS!!!!

Smart's buddy, too.

Good for Davis!

I love G-league. "In a squeaker 165-163 in regulation"...a true commitment to offense.

Thanks for Clawtube!

Didn't watch today's game. I know he muffed at the foul line. Yet, so haven't thousands of other players in similar situations. Overall, I think he's light years better than James Young, Mickey and RJ.

Haven't followed Trey....can't really offer an opinion except to say I'd have to look at his performances over many more games before committing to him.

He's supposedly a friend of Marcus Smart's. He's listed as 6'0" but he looks shorter than that in the video. Congrats to him for setting a franchise record.

No more under 6'3" players, please.

Yes, because the 5'11" Davis can fill the same role as the 6'6" Nader.

I think we're already set at the point. Irving will be back soon. Rozier is running things fine. Larkin is proving to be a decent 3rd option. Where are the minutes for Davis going to come from?

(and to answer your question, he's not getting that jumper off in the pros)
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

Thanks for your insight, which is often salient and valued.

Not for your sarcasm, which often devalues your otherwise pithy ;) posts.

Davis just scored 57, we need scoring.  That was my point. Not that Nader and he are equivalent players.

We don't have any roster spots, so we'd have to cut someone like Nader or Ojeleye.  Do you think Davis is worth that?

The last thing we need is another PG - we have already got 4 ballhandlers on the team in Irving, Smart, Rozier and Larkin.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
