Team is going to finish in third place. Can’t win close games

How does a game where we don't have kyrie, Jaylen, Al, Marcus and Theis = anything about where we end up.

Don't forget Hayward, he too is an injured Celtic.

More like “Can’t win close games without Kyrie, Horford, Brown, Smart and Theis”.

exactly.  us even being in this game was a victory for us.

Arguably missing our five best players.  Kyrie, Hayward, Horford, Brown, Smart.  That group gets you into the playoffs, and they were all out tonight.

It is what it is.  The Others are The Others for a reason.

WE HAVE TWO EFFING TIMEOUTS, AND BRAD SITS ON HIS FREAKING HANDS ONCE AGAIN AND LOSES US THIS GAME SETTLING FOR A PULL-UP THREE!

I'm about fed up with Brad's terrible decision-making down the stretch. Dude is so overrated, especially on this blog.

What the hell is his problem?! That's three HUGE decisions that he's blown tonight that cost us the game.

Yeah you care way too much about this game. C's ran a bunch of end of the bench guys out there and lost because of dumb self imposed mistakes down the stretch.
Brad does that every game.

No excuses. Game was won and they could not finish

Which is exactly what you expect when you’re relying on rookies and end of bench guys.

Going in, did you expect this lineup to compete tonight?

They made me care by making it close and competitive! lol

I mean, you can't really blame the players for this loss at all. I understand that. Yeah, Tatum had some dumb plays down the stretch, and he probably should be expected to make his free throws. He's also a rookie.

But that inexplicably bad coaching down the stretch is inexcusable. It's so bad that I really do wonder if this was a blatant tank job by Brad. A coach supposedly as smart as him doesn't make three major errors in decision-making like that down the stretch.

Morris was great for most of game but those two threes he let up due to defensive lapses cost us from winning in regulation and starting strong in first OT

Who was thinking that after all the injuries yesterday?

Not just tonight. Boston has lost a lot of games late because they cannot execute. Pacers twice, Lakers, tonight

Cannot blow a 20 point lead to a dog tired slumping wiz team at home

Bit of a deflating end considering we had a few chances to win the game, both at the end of regulation as well as the end of the first overtime. Just lacked that finishing touch to put the game away. No such thing as moral victories, but shorthanded team, the game could have gone either way and they fought to the end. Pleased to see Morris step up, he's definitely better offensively than I thought he was when we traded Avery for him. Jayson struggled with his shot a bit but it's good to see him getting more touches and more usage.

I think they will win seven of the remaining games
