Wizards are actually playing now.  Celtics don't have much of an answer.

Honestly the first one he's ever been called for against us.

Tatum can get chopped up with a sword and still not get a call.

How many times will Tatum go in for that underhanded layup that gets blocked before he (and the coaching staff) break him of that bad habit???   ::)

That open 3 by Beal is at least the 2nd or 3rd time Tatum has been late to cover an open man.  He has to pick up the intensity on both ends of the court.

I mean, what do you expect? He's playing out of position at the 2. He's a combo 3/4 that is more than likely going to find his long-term home at the 4. He simply doesn't have the foot speed to keep up with 2 guards, even though he always gets caught on them out on the perimeter somehow.

Do you really believe that?

I've been impressed with how mobile and agile Tatum is for his size.

Yep. His athleticism and overall agility is definitely better than was advertised pre-draft, but his foot speed is still bad out on the perimeter and too slow to guard guards out there full time. He's also not too adept at getting around screens, which is important for perimeter defense.

Too bad Hayward got hurt forcing Tatum primarily to the 3. I would've liked to see Tatum play the 4 more this year, as I think he's got mismatch written all over him.

Rozier and Tatum are gonna have to score for the Celtics to win. And they're capable, so they better figure it out.

So... why is the strategy not give the ball to Monroe and watch him eat Mahinmi alive in the post on every trip?

I'll be REALLY sad if we lose Rozier to free agency.

Larkin has been exactly what we need out of him.
