Not a bad effort all things considered. They were willing to have a go at least.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Hard to win missing three starters. Bright side is Pacers are rapidly overtaking the Cavs for third. Boston needs to get healthy and hold onto second

Even with Smart on him all night and playing great, Oladipo still weny for 27 on good shooting percentages. That man just has our number this year, with or without Smart playing on him.

Yeah effort was probably not the issue

Trying to win the game by having Smart get into a shooting contest with Dipo was a bad idea in hindsight.

True. We didn't really have many other options though tonight.
Well we could have tried defense.

I didn't tune in until late 3rd quarter but what the Pacers were doing was setting high PnR plays but their bigs weren't actually rolling to the basket and they continually had the C's on their heels for wide open 2s and 3s (esp. with Larkin in the game).

Once Smart came in,  he and usually Tatum would switch out on top to avoid getting picked but the Pacers started going inside.  It was a case of pick your poison.

Nice comeback effort by the tank brigade, but in the end it's probably best we lost this game.  Let Indy have the 3rd seed and think they actually have a chance against us, that's fine by me.

Makes it fun to actively root against Cleveland again.

Pacers have a tough stretch these next three, however: Sixers, Raptors, Wizards.

Good loss for the long game. We WANT the Pacers as the 3rd Seed.
The only color that matters is GREEN

I don' think Smart guarded him much in the second half. Looked like Smart was just playing free safety because the team defense was so bad.

Yeah. Not sure I would risk Kyrie this season if his knee is bad. But it looks like he will need to get it cleaned out this season

I'm not counting on it. Pacers have a brutal schedule.

This was a Stevens wink saying FU to the Cavs. Rested Kyrie on a no bearing game.

I think Brad is now confined to the fact that we ain't catchin the Raptors.. No need really to risk further injury to the guys that are ailing.
