Larkin starting in Kyrie’s place over both Smart and Rozier. Who guessed that one?

I think this will ultimately work given both (a) we’re facing Chicago, and (b)  Larkin at the very least will hold his own defensively and keep the ball moving and initiate plays, but I think this is one of those situations where Brad overthinks things. I think you’d be hard-pressed to find another coach who would skip over his 2nd and 3rd best options at pg and go with his 4th best option solely to keep the bench units intact.
TP....Stevens is definitely overthinking this. Stupid move, IMO.
Looking like a good move so far.

I mean, I said it would probably work because we're facing Chicago. But it should also be noted that Smart (15) and Rozier (14) are nearly doubling Larkin (8 ) in minutes.  :P

Which just goes to show that who starts is somewhat overated. It's about the minutes. Brad probably just didnt want to mess with the 2nd unit chemistry.

Celtics 52%
Bulls 28%

Well, that explains a lot doesn't it?

At least the Bulls are doubling their field goal percentage from the line....57%

At this juncture I'd like to open up to chapter 2 of the Daniel Theis era....he is shooting a tidy 100% from the field. Hamstrings be danged!

They’re really caning the Bulls...good to put away inferior teams. We need every win we can get

I enjoy when Jaylen plays bully ball against smaller guards.  He's shown improvement as the year has gone on, and I'm not just talking about results... you can see his basketball skills improving.

Jaylen could go for 30 tonight if they look for him. No one on Chicago can guard him

I don't have a stream right now, but I am guessing that the Bulls don't have anyone that can guard Jaylen tonight?

Jaylen having figured out his free throws has really increased his aggressiveness these past few games.  I feel like a big step is about to happen.

lets just say if Jaylen can play at this level every night, he will be an all-star for sure by this time next year.

I think that's Brown's 7th or 8th basket in the paint.  Just dominating out there.

Wasn't Dunn supposed to be able to guard?
