After looking at the standings, it appears to me that there are 5-6 teams that can win. Kawhi, Jimmy Butler, and John Wall are dinged up, and I don't think MIL, OKC, or DEN have a championship run in them this year.

What do you think?

I think us meeting Houston is a legitimate, if not likely scenario. Golden State definitely has it harder this year, as Houston is an offensive powerhouse and OKC are seemingly custom built to take it to them.

I could see us emerging, assuming we regain a bit of our early season mojo
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I voted Houston vs Toronto. My second choice would’ve been GSW vs Toronto.

To be painfully objective, I don’t think we get past Cleveland in the 2nd round and I think the Raptors with their revamped offense finally dethrone the King. I’ve thought for a while now that Derozan is better than Lowry and this year, he’s really taken the reins while Lowry has become #2. This Raps team is legit people!

GSW vs HOU in the WCF, and it’s no question, IMO. GSW would be favored but I can see how Houston can pull off the upset. GSW probably has some mental fatigue as well, after 3-straight trip’s to the finals, and Houston might be the hungrier team.

It is well within the realm of possibility and I agree.   However, I think the honeymoon period in CLE with the new team mates is coming to an end.

I heard on the radio about team mates not helping the King enough on their last loss and you have articles like this one.  LeBrons leadership has always had a healthy dose of blaming others.

I went with Cleveland for the East. Not convinced by Toronto. I think it will be between the Cavs and Celtics. It could go either way. Celtics have the firepower to take down LeBron but their dodgy form of recent has me wondering whether they are ready (mentally) or not.

The Warriors and Rockets should be a fun one in the West. I went with GSW because they have so many weapons and the experience Houston lacks.

So Cleveland vs Golden State - again.

It's a shame Leonard has essentially chosen not to come back.

I actually think if Leonard came back, even at like 70-80%, they could give GSW or HOU a run for their money, possibly even beat both en route to a Finals appearance.

Alas, I think we are heading for another CLE-GSW Finals unfortunately. A lot depends on seeding for us, since we could be playing CLE or TOR in the 2nd round, and I don't think that bodes well for us. Even in the West, GSW may play OKC 2nd round, then HOU in the WCF w/o home court advantage.

But I think the odds still favor CLE and GSW getting out again and playing in the Finals. For Houston, Toronto and Boston, it will all come down to execution and who else steps up besides just the known stars.
