Since the 50 games lockout shortened 98/99 season, the Spurs have won 50 games every single season (including the lockout shortened 11/12 season of 66 games).  They were well above a 50 win pace in the 99 season and won 56 in the 98 season, so if you count win percentage that is how long the streak is.

They are currently on a 48 win pace. So the question is, does perhaps the most impressive regular season team accolade finally come to an end.

Certainly could happen.  They have a pretty tough month of March ahead of them (and HOU on 4/1)

I think they'll get there.

I think POP aside yes they do end up below 50.  Kudos for getting the numbers out of Gasol but pop can only go so far with current roster and no Kawhi

No, they won't get 50 wins = schedule is too tough over final stretch of the season. Too difficult without Kawhi. They have done supremely well to win as much as they have done this year.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Pops has been known to rest starters, so it is very very possible.

35-24 right now, roster plagued with endless injuries, and 23 games left, and they need to win 15 of those to reach 50 wins. They need to win 65% of remaining games, and their current win percentage is 59%.

You have to account for the fact that with the recent injury to Kawhi in the early beginning of the season may have cratered their W/L loss originally.

The Spurs are done.

I think so. End of an era. If Leonard is truly unhappy than maybe trading him might be the best for the Spurs. There would be a lot of teams that would bid against each other.
