I'm a bit skeptical about whether or not he can come close to his old level of play - or at least become a good rotational player - given that he hasn't played the last two years.

Moreover, we already have a lot of big men on this team meaning that he would take away minutes from a player like Theis if we were to sign him (and I think that Theis has done a good job so far).

But at the end of the day, I wouldn't mind cutting one of the rookies (like Nader) to make room for him. It's a classic low risk high reward type of signing.
Jack of all trades, master of none.

Bosh could shoot the 3. Fits perfectly for this team!

I would sign him to a one year deal quickly.

I would get 2 Dr's to check him out and then have him only play home games. Signing him is a big risk that may not be worth it.

Media pet peeve:

The last day a free-agent can sign with an NBA team and still be eligible for the playoffs is March 1.

Not true. Players who are free agents before March 1 can sign with a new team any time before the playoffs start.

I'm curious as to what the risk is. If he is signed, then at least one Dr. has passed him to play. Wouldn't that Doctor assume more risk than the team?

Wyc and Danny are not competent to make medical determinations. Legally, I would think that they wouldn't assume too much risk if he does come back.

Massive potential lawsuit if anything were to happen to Bosh so I can't see any team signing him either.

I don’t think that there would be much room for a lawsuit.

...especially the Celtics with the history they've had with Bias & Lewis.

I remember when doc was the coach of the All-Star Game and our big four we're all playing. I kept wondering who would make the best fit out of all the other All-Stars, and was shocked to find out that Bosh was the best fit.

I was able to picture him in green back then and I can see it now

I bet Bosh could still ball. If he thinks he's healthy enough to play I'd love to see him back in the league.

I'm a fan because he had fun and could play at a high level. We forget sometimes this is entertainment and Bosh was always entertaining on and off the court.
ok fine
