Geez...lost another one..hope all those late first and 2nd round picks are worth it...still don't know why Danny hold onto them picks like gold..those players that pick that late don't usually make it in nba..rather have a proven player than a project..
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Doesn't seem like Danny is to motivated to bringing in someone. Maybe he thinks Hayward has a better chance to come back

you'd think Marco Belinelli would do anything to come here. all he has to do is shoot jumpers.

That's an awful lot of pressure to put on a guy coming off of a major injury.

Why was everyone so excited to sign Marco? Below avg NBA player who can't play a lick of defense and isn't really a knockdown 3pt shooter as everyone keeps claiming he is.

I'm not even sure how a player like him will find minutes on a top playoff team.

ok fine

I'd be interested in knowing how strongly Danny pursued Belinelli (if at all).  If he did pursue him I guess I am surprised that Philly got him.

Per Bobby Marks:  Marco Belinelli will have a salary of $776,217 and a cap hit of $490,461.

So it looks like the Sixers got him for the vet minimum rather than having to use their room exception.  He'll be a nice upgrade for their bench.

I don't really think he is moving the needle for anyone. He is so bad on defense it offsets his shooting. Maybe we would have been the one team that could have covered him on defense some, but not losing sleep over it.

Why would we be the one team that could cover him on defense?  The Sixers are 4th in defense and have Embiid.  Belinelli slots in nicely as Redick's backup.

I agree. And I'm a little worried that veterans already see Philadelphia as a good destination.

Jesus guys are we really going to go sky is falling mode over everything? By a lot of advanced metrics he is one of the worst players in the league.

When you are on a losing streak, all the players on your team suck while the team with the inferior record looks good.
