In the spirit of appreciation for the Little Guy, including his historic season in Boston and our rise to relevance, I hope this thread can serve as a little nook where fans can follow IT along on his continued NBA journey.

While I didn't catch the game, he seemed to have played well for 2-3 quarters this evening.  He shot the ball well, had a healthy dose of assists, and lead the team in scoring for that time.  Hopefully he is starting to get his legs and timing back.

Some of my fonder memories:

The 53 point game vs. the Wizards in the ECSF, on his sister's birthday (wow)

Game 1 vs. Bulls -- 33 points, 6 assists following sister's passing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXJeUS-LbpM

I can't give this kid enough credit for his play and attitude while in Boston.  He was a joy to watch and I'm confident he'll find a good home next season.  While he may not get a max contract, he's fully capable of great basketball, filling seats, and entertaining a fanbase.

Why?? I’ll happily celebrate all he did when he’s either a) not on one of our biggest rivals or b) retired, but he’s the enemy at the moment.

I’m pretty glad to see that he’ll likely be traded from that hellhole, but until then I want him to contribute to failure.

'shot the ball well' ???  huh

he is shooting 36% from the field and 24% from 3 during his games this year.  He has been particularly poor in the last 5 games.  I don't have anything against IT, but he is not right.  Maybe he is still injured, or maybe it is the chaos in Cleveland, but he is currently a shell of the player he was in boston last year.

Hopefully next year he lands on a team that will help him get back closer to the level he was playing at in Boston.

Shot the ball well tonight = 3/13 from the field, 1/6 from 3

While it's clear Thomas will never regain his Boston glory, he still might be able to become a starting caliber player once again. Though, I have to admit, it does not look good.

He just needs a coach who will allow him to succeed. Like Brad Stevens.

That hip is a big part of the equation as well.

All positive huh?

OK.

IT4 is a Trojan horse that will dispatch evil Clevelanders from their lands, including their evil king and his overpaid minions. That will allow us to establish a new ruling dynasty in the eastern part of the continent.

Nice.  I can't think of anything else.

I love what Isaiah did for us and he really was a true Celtic in his 2.5 years here.

He didn't deserve to get slammed constantly by Pierce and others over the Tribute video drama (though I agree he probably should have just gotten it over with the first meeting regardless if he played), and I hope he gets dealt and gets another chance elsewhere.

Maximize his talents in a better environment with better opportunity to get paid this summer. Let's be honest, EVERYONE on Cleveland is underwhelming, not just Isaiah.
