I vote no.  DA's ask of a 1st + a rotation player is high.  Unless some team really covets him enough long-term to overpay, I doubt it.  But I'm often wrong and lack credibility.

I think he will.  Danny really wants that 1st round pick to ship to Memphis for Tyreke.  Would be an upgrade for us. I love Marcus, but our lack of offensive production on the 2nd unit is still glaring. T Roz too inconsistent, and Morris and Monroe are spot scorers at best. Will get you chunks in short intervals.  Goal is the get to the NBA Finals, where we are likely to lose but still build up great teaching experience for the pups. I doubt we can get there unless we add a guy like Evans to the squad.

See I remember someone making a similar post about whether Isaiah would stay after the summer and I was like "obviously, are you crazy..." and then he got dealt like a week later for Irving so.. 

But here I voted No. I'm not seeing it.

Since he is clearly on the block are can't say no. Also, its pretty obvious the team can win without him since they are 7-1 in games he has missed this year so its not like trading him is going to severely effect the team's W-L record.

But Ainge can be a stickler for wanting to get what he wants to get in a trade and the rest of the league may not give Danny what he is looking for so I can't really say yes.

Is Ainge playing his hand like he's trying for a title this year? I suggest he isn't. Smart traded for another guy...is this other guy going to stay? Is he just a rental...like Smart?

If we are talking rentals? For crying out loud, you keep Smart as he a playoff/big game specialist.

If you have a shot of improving the team while getting rid of Smart's contract hassle coming up....gooooo Danny.

Playoff specialist? I remember 4-5 really good playoff games. Nothing else really stands out that he came up bigger in the playoffs than he ever played in an average regular season game.
