C's played very uninspired from the get go--Raps played like it was 7th game of playoffs...not worried.

i just knew she hey would .....Irving hurt ......they wanted the win in the worst way ......jump on a wounded team down a few players ......like a hungry pack of wolves on a crippled lamb.

TP, Shaq....this exactly.

Add to that the fact that we came off a VERY emotional win AND that we won 4 in a row without 3 of our top 7 guys, playing balls to the walls, and we were spent and Morris looked like a POS (hopefully from the injury/layoff) and we were ripe for a letdown.

This will be the highlight of the Raps season. Screw them.

And some chump like vanFleet going off like that? Smart will EAT HIM ALIVE.

Cant wait till we see them again, and can't wait till Moose is playing a lot of Morris' minutes.

This game should be rapidly forgotten but one thing is certain, Brad needs to figure out that 2nd quarter. We cannot enter every 3rd quarter with a deficit after crapping the bed in the 2nd. It's too much.

Can't wait for the deadline to pass if only to get confirmation on who the Celtics will have on their team.

Disgusting game. How many rebounds did we lose from guys just taking them away or we would fight over the rebound with our own teammate and knock it out of bounds. We need a consistent shot maker of the bench. Tatum played weak tonight. Hopefully he gets back to the aggressive Jayson next game. BTW, do we have anyone to guard Lowry? Oh yeah he was guarding the picture frame instead.

It was a KO victory.

We know we have Monroe.  To the level he is being glossed over by a lot in these discussions, I think people are going to be surprised how good he can be here.

Dwayne Casey was really high on him here for his passing, which I have thought to a degree but he was very confident on how he spoke of it.  Casey is a smart coach I think.

His post scoring will be big when they need offense at times and he is a better finisher around the rim than any big we have.  I love Baynes for defense but he blows finishes off great feeds from Kyrie and others that would be easy finishes for a player like Monroe.

If he's a threat to score and can pass, he adds another big wrinkle into an offense when he's in that can be exploited.  He will draw double teams.

I still want to know Brad's reasoning for only playing Kyrie 12 minutes in the first half, especially his decision to bench Kyrie in the second half of the second quarter when they made their run.

Maybe Kyrie had a minute restriction. Maybe is quad still isn't 100%. Better to play too few minutes than too many when just coming off an injury

I’m guessing he was on a minutes restriction.

Kyrie even said he didn't feel as right as he thought he would. Hard to come off that injury into the fire

And there is no doubt that Monroe starts when he gets here. Baynes just can't finish

Well, that seems to be the only logical excuse, but I don't understand why that'd be the case for a quad contusion.

Nader, Yabu & Allen should all be in the G league and they were the only 3 with a positive +/- tonight. Go figure. What really sucks is we pretty much held Derozan in check but were schooled by VanVleet.

And the rebounding and the running the floor which most people don't ever mention. Nort to south, he can motor.

Moose train coming our way.
