If he's bought out and there are no better options, sure, I wouldn't mind him on a minimum contract.  But he wouldn't be my first choice.

Johnson has looked a lot slower this year than ever.  I'm not sure how much gas he has left in the tank.

Johnson has literally looked like his age, and if you browse Jazz forums, a lot of them are complaining that he's even seeing minutes considering how terribly awful he is on defense, and how he hasn't been efficient at scoring.

But sure... why not?

Just don't take minutes away from Tatum or Morris.

Back at ya, just curious as to why you think we should go after Joe.

I did not say we should. I just asked a question.

Shooting. Also, he won't throw up on his shoes in game 1 of the playoffs.

I'd take him as a situational veteran. I think you sign him to hit a big shot or two.

Ah, I see. I just wanted to know why.

Still think he can be a great veteran leader in our locker room, and teach Brown or Tatum a thing or two. For a vet min, I would be okay with it.

True, although I have loved JJ's game, but quite frankly, I always felt like his clutch shooting was extremely overrated. He has a career clutch game winning at 26%, ranked 9th in front of Pierce, and I just found it ironic some users here used to hate on Paul George's game, (because he also had a low clutch shooting number,) but yet people seem to be cognizant with Joe's game as 'clutch.'

I don't think that he'd even get playing time on the Celtics, so it's a waste of a roster spot.

He would be like that Michael Finley signing. You expect more than you actually get.

Or Brown, Ojeleye, or even Nader.

He's done. Rather we make some small trade for Vincenity, to get some noise in the house, otherwise I don't see any major obsticles in trading for far better players like Evans and Lou. If we include Smartin any package, there's no chance for any other team to get any of those.
