Ayton/Bagley
Porter/Young
Doncic/Bamba

Order of each could flip flop. I see Doncic dropping a little with talent more visible playing out of their minds. Porter Jr. is a wild card. No one has seen him play a min in college ball yet. That’s a big leap of faith for a team so of the mix above, he could fall and he also could become the biggest steal if he does fall.

Bamba is starting to get some nasty in him. He could rise above Young by seasons end given his size.

Oh and something tells me Bagley is going to disappoint at the next level.

And would you care to tell us exactly what that something is?  Thank you.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

If we get the 2nd pick and Bagley is still on board and we don't draft him, the Celtics will sorely regret that decision. I honestly believe Bagley will become a generational talent under Stevens.

....if you're bored like me.  After the draft we can look back and see if any one got all 7 pairs correct and if so on what date they nailed it.  Here are my 7 pairs.

all of these are in some order...predict which of your two players goes first if so inclined, but the idea is just to get the pairs correct....

1 and 2 -- Ayton and Bagley (I predict Ayton then Bagley)

3 and 4 -- Young and Porter

5 and 6 -- Doncic and Jaren Jackson (Doncic then Jackson)

7 and 8 -- Bamba and Sexton

9 and 10 --Knox and Carter (Knox first)

11 and 12 -- Bridges and Bridges

13 and 14 is Lonnie Walker and Gilgeous Alexander

enter as many times as you want and explain your changes...

updating final two pairs.

11 and 12 -- Alexander (last game, size, potential, versatility, school) and Bridges

13 and 14 --Other Bridges and Lonnie Walker

(yes you are allowed to not name which Bridges goes first...you're welcome).

The reason Doncic and Bamba are lower in my pairings than current draft prognostication is that I think teams at the last moment freak out over offense and highest possible ceiling.  I think they will say well this Doncic guy reached a high level at a young age and close to ceiling...and I think Bamba will come to be seen as risky when there is such talented offense in the top 6.

From the ESPN mock draft thread...here is Jonathan Givony's latest lottery, presented in twos...
(each pair is in order obviously)

1 and 2:  Doncic, Ayton

3 and 4:  Bamba, Jackson

5 and 6:  Bagley, Porter

7 and 8:  Young, Carter Jr.

9 and 10:  Sexton, Mikal Bridges

11 and 12:  Miles Bridges, Knox

13 and 14:  R. Williams, L. Walker

reflects Trae Young's slump, Jaren Jackson's strong play and good NBA fit, and strong belief in Doncic.

I think Doncic will be surpassed by better athletes as the draft approaches....and don't think Bagley will last until 5.  And I think Ayton will be number 1.  Also won't be surprised if Miles Bridges is out of the lottery due to staying in draft and struggling some.  In his place seems like Gilgeous A. might make it in..

The top 7 in this draft is very hard to predict and will be very interesting on draft night imo...

I think a lot of you guys are missing the boat on Doncic. Kid is mature, an exceptional shooter, great passer, great scorer, and is succeeding in an environment that is much higher level of talent than the NCAA. He will be an excellent player in today's NBA.
