Sometimes i truly wonder how the C's are ranked as high defensively as they are. They look like amateurs a lot of the time.

I wonder that too. If the Cs are the best defensive team, that's not saying much for the rest of the league.

And why the heck did Kyrie shoot the ball with 7 seconds left? Why not milk the clock and make Denver foul?

He got a good look by creating separation.  I have no problem with his shot plus if he held the ball just to milk the clocks it might have occurred to the Nuggets to call a TO to advance the ball and maybe they get a better shot.
When you're up by 1 with 17 seconds to go, there isn't a shot you can take than 2 free throws whenever they decide it's time to foul you. That didn't make any sense.

No reason for Denver to foul. He holds the ball and risks a shot clock violation, they get it back with 4 or 5 seconds left.

Now I see the problem—I thought Boston got the ball with 17 seconds left, but they got it a few seconds before that, then just called timeout at 17 seconds, so Kyrie did need to shoot with some time left on the clock.
Yeah, the play-by-play I was watching originally had the time stamp for the Denver shot incorrect, making it look like Boston got the ball back with 17 seconds.  I too was initially confused and angry that Kyrie took an unnecessary shot.

Theis is outplaying Baynes. Baynes made a lot of mistakes tonight. Prefer Baynes when playing monsters like Embid & Drummond but otherwise Theis plays better.

Actually flying from Florida to Denver right now to go to the game tonight (and then go snowboarding). Hoping the Cs can make me proud!

Great job again, FLC!!

Enjoy the game and the trip!

Thanks, SL! Great to get a win (even if it was closer than it should have been). Timely buckets and D when it mattered the most!

The kid (Tatum) got his courage back and man I have to say that Theis is outplaying Baynes consistently. Much needed win.

Baynes could be trade fodder no?

What's happens to the mid-level exception next year if he is traded in a package at the deadline?
