Great game, shame we lost! I think those two missed layups by Horford decided the game. After that Steph hit that three and layup... shame, but go Celtics on to the next one!

So our lost against the GSW in the last few seasons are:

- 2 OTs without Smart
- Blowout home court loss without Horford
- Nail biter without Smart

Yep. Not worried against the warriors. They are beatable as long as we can reach the finals.

let's just get past the cavs and whoever first. we owe lebron for 2012. i won't count last two times we lost to lebron and cavs in playoffs as we did not have a shot including last years ECF

That's why I mentioned the last part "as long as we reach the finals". It might not be easy, but it is doable with this core. Lebron is declining and so is his team.

Well, at least this game was promising after our recent poor streak. However, it's still frustrating that we have a player sitting at home who could've very well been the difference in this game. Curry doesn't go off like this on Smart, yet he couldn't play due to a dumb decision.

Yes and no. To me, it's further confirmation that they can play well in big games ... but that only begs the question of why they play so poorly against crap teams.

WOW Klay Thompson held to just 7 points tonight, KD with 20.

But Curry went OFF for them.

Holy hell, I didn't realize he had 49.

Yeah, I'm fairly confident that we win this one with Smart. He's by far the best option we have in guarding someone like Curry.

Man, I don’t see how some Celtics fans are so shook by Golden State. Give me Hayward and Smart and we can take them. Heck, just Smart alone and Curry doesn’t go off like he did and Celts prob take this one.

But as good as Golden State is, they are unwatchable with all the complaining they do. I mean replays show CLEAR fouls that they are arguing about. They are the biggest divas I’ve ever seen on a basketball court. Between their showboating and constant whining, I don’t see how anyone besides Bay natives and band wagoners can stomach them.

I've never been more confident that we could beat the Warriors in a 7 game series.

This. Although to be fair, I'm still not that confident. C's have held Durant and Thompson in check for 2 straight games.

Yea they missed Smart big time and Hayward of course. With GH and somebench additions they can hang and even beat the Warriors

Yup, I think that's what it came down to. Golden (no pun intended) opportunity blown.

Yep, but it's encouraging that even despite Curry going off, we only lost by 4.

One thing I admire is that even if this team is down by double digits against GSW, they make runs to come back. They fight till the end.

These type of games got loads and loads of details and usually it bolis down to one or two possesions... Pitty Al missed that defensive play when Steph made that layup giving them +5. He stayed to long behind Iggy...

Imagine having someone like a Lou Williams coming off the bench for this team. That'd be huge for us, and I would think he's fairly attainable via the DPE and LAC pick, too.

Yeah like honestly, I still think GSW beats us in 5 games in a hypothetical Finals.

But the way they played, they probably beat the Cavaliers unless if Lebron goes off for like 60+ lol.

yeah winning and losing this game tonight comes down to just a few possessions and each teams margin was razor thin.  We didn't take care of the ball well at times, and missed a lot of Ft's in the 2nd half and didn't get much from Tatum.  I almost feel like giving Tatum a break from the starting lineup might help.

Take care of the ball just a bit better, and hit the fts and we walk away with a win.  Great effort by the C's though.  Brown with a quiet 20, but was a good compliment to KI tonight.

I don't think he will be available. Clippers in playoff hunt and Pelicans could drop a bit in standings too.

I think Tyreke Evans is the ideal target but idk what it would take to get him.
