Crowder during his Boston days put up relatively nice numbers. Would he rather sit on the bench on a team with so much disarray and discord or come back to a team that supplements his strengths?

Yeah, Crowder is a punk and not someone I want to see wearing Celtics green ever again.

But I'm not sure I'd want Love either. He's not good at defense at all, and while he is an immensely talented offensive player, he seems like the type of weak personality that gets easily pushed around.

Fair enough. I think Crowder can elevate his game and become a 50/40/90 with Kyrie at the helm. I liked Isaiah, but he didn't break down defenses as well as he should have.

But I see your point. The problem should also lie on Lue. Stevens had a similar incident with Crowder and Thomas, but that got shut down quickly.

Yeah, I noticed that during the game last night and mentioned it in the general thread. Crowder legit looked right at him and basically stepped over him.

Love should demand a trade. He's won a ring in Cleveland and still gets completely disrespected by his own teammates. That's garbage.

Yeah, because Lebron probably told them to, or else...

I mean think about it. A report came out before saying that Lebron asked his teammates their thoughts about adding Wade, and a lot of them WERE NOT in favor of that. But Lebron was like, "who cares what they think, Wade is a champion and a veteran who can get us past GSW" (something like that).

Well, Wade might have some high moments but for the most part looks like a corpse out there, and he SURE gets a lot of favoritism from Lebron (for good reason, but it's probably having a negative affect on his teammates, especially JR).

And anyone notice how Wade is in no rush to call someone (or some players) out if something doesn't go their way. He did it in Chicago too w/Jimmy Butler.

I believe Wade has called out IT recently for taking too many shots and not making them (arguing that he should "tone it down" and that Wade should get the ball more, even though Wade tends to struggle as well).

Totally agree. There has been a lot of Love hate on this board and in general, but he's still a top 30 player, and a fantastic fit for our system given his shooting range and rebounding. If we could get him to buy in on defense, he'd be fantastic. I just think the asking price will be too much and I'm not sure how the money would add up.

Crowder is a great example of someone overachieving in Boston but average elsewhere. I was fooled by it myself. I have now seen the light and realize that playing under Brad Stevens gives all players a +aura effect. Can't wait to see how Hayward is affected by it.


Cleveland looks like a divided locker room. Normally, someone like LeBron would step up and take charge of the team and tell people to cut this crap out, but it seems like he is not the kind of player who quells drama but instead incites it.

Plus, didn't Crowder play a significant part in Hayward's injury? And as far as Love and bad defense - weren't we able to cover up for IT? Covering for Love would be easier.
