God, Smart is such an enigma. Both of those jumpers that he has hit tonight looked really good and within the offense. Why can't he simply do this on a more consistent basis, even if it's only to the tune of 15 or so points a game?

Because he's not a very good shooter.

Offense hard to come by for both teams tonight
I hope Eddie gets some minutes.  Needless to say there might be some PT available for anyone who can make an outside shot consistently.
I would be surprised to see Eddie getting playing time before he is released. Given how many guys are in Portland right now, it wouldn't surprise me that Eddie was signed to be nothing more than an extra body to practice with while the team is on the road.
You spoke to soon lol. He's playing
Figured he might.  He's not there to take up a roster space - they need to see what he can do. Interesting that his career 3pt stats aren't that great - really hasn't gotten much of a chance it looks like.

Eddie looked really tentative there.  Trust your game if you wanna make it in the NBA

Even with Morris, I'm still not a fan of these all-bench lineups. Still need someone like Tatum in there, too.

I wanna see how good Eddie is at shooting. Looking at him, he's long too.

This is what happens when you don't stagger your starters, Brad.

EDIT: It's got to be a college coach thing, because several other college-to-NBA coaches also struggle with this, e.g. Donovan.

It's 11 PM, and this game being so boring is not helping...  :(

Rozier, Smart, Eddie, MM, Theis.  I'm surprised we still have the lead.

Brad loves nursing minutes in the 1st half.  Our starters better respond and play well accordingly.
