Tstum needs to be more instrumental in this offense No reason to keep holding this kid back
LOL.  I knew there would be one more.  What are you talking about?  who was holding him back?  he had the ball, he shot the ball, he didn't do anything.  This is a fabriacted story.  He's a rookie and has looked like it the last few games.

I will take 10 rebounds and 1 block and 1 steal in 31 stinking minutes from a rookie.  Sure, I would have loved him to shot a higher percentage, but, our problems today were NOT with Kyrie or Tatum in my opinion!!!!  I DESPISE starting Morris!!!  I don't care that he was a +2 while on the court.  That is BECAUSE he was playing with the starters.  He is a HORRENDOUS defender and a very lazy rebounder!!

I'm not choosing Tatum to go after either.  I am happy with him.  I just tire of this "Stevens is holding him back" narrative from fans.  It's not happening.  Especially recently he is getting his chances.

I feel a western road trip where they don't win one game.

For sure losing to the Lakers

That is really the only winnable game on the trip. Golden State will kill Boston this time. They always lose in Denver.

Tatum gets his chances. In the flow of the offense he gets his. He isn't ready for the role of a #2 scoring option. Let the game come to him and he should have enough opportunities to score 15-18 points per game if he is shooting well.

Bench features 3 guys that hurt the in the worst way when in the game...Rozier, Smart and Semi. They are guys that just don't get it done

Maybe not #2 but hell he should be getting more touches than Morris and rozier.  Every time those two get the ball they look for their shot.  Brad needs to tell Morris to post up and rozier to stay on the perimeter and shoot your open 3's.  Instead ya got tstum floating on th perimeter and rozier doing this best IT impression of trying to take over the game.  Rozier needs to never dictate the offense because he'll always defer to himself and Morris needs to shoot when he's open or can post up when the ball finds him as the best option not when he has a one on one.

So, our offense just stagnated, eh?

Does Danny address this issue, or he just stands pat knowing that we still have Gordon Hayward? I feel like he has to make a minor move here just so we could stay competitive. Our offense is just flat out bad. Bench can't buy a basket, and the starters would get into cold streaks that is just flat out ridiculous.

Morris is fine. He shouldn't be starting and his look for mine offense off the bench is great. Your problem isn't with Tatum getting more looks its with Smart and Rozier's inability to run a ball movement offense. They look for theirs too often or generally want to play PnR with a center. Its awful.

  • GOT IT!!!
Didn’t watch the game but like I said I don’t like how this team looks. They should have came out of that break ready to roll and instead look as bad as that December stretch. Really terrible timing going to the west coast. By the time they get back could be back in the 2 slot.

All I can say is the Celts deserved this loss today. No heart and no defense. Hopefully it's a wakeup call. This team can't get their heads fully into the game unless they're down and time is running out.

Looks like the Pats are playing the same way right now.

It's all relative and falls squarely on the shoulders of CBS to notify his players of their roles.  If you want Morris taking shots and rozier taking shots you do it with your second unit.  That's all a coaching call that inhibits Tatums ability to get opportunities.   never said I had a problem with smart, he can at least find an open man.
