Our problem last night was not defensively. We held Indiana to 43% shooting, 25% from three. That's after Indiana shot something like over 65% in the first quarter.

The problem was we had tired legs and every outside shot was short in the 1st half. We also made some stupid offensive decisions to close this game out. I don't see that one of the worst shooters in the league and a guy known for poor offensive decision making was going to help that.

We need to not take dumb shots. And we don't need Smart.

Somebody has got guard PGs since Kyrie can’t get around a screen to save his life.

Regardless the C’s need Hayward. Too much pressure on Tatum and Brown.
Smart is a great defender. Smart' s importance to this team's overall defensive effort, however, is vastly overrated.

As someone pointed out, Smart didn't exactly shut down Oladipo last time around.

The bolded statement completely contradicts itself.

Smart is part of some of the most successful lineups this team has.  You cannot possibly deny that it would have been nice to have him defend Lowery and Oladipo this past week.

And Curry the week before.

Smart punching out that picture has really hurt this team.
He needs to learn that if you want to punch something, pick something that won't hurt your hand like a pillow.
