but he has himself to blame for ring chasing to Curry's team. Will GSW always be Curry's team? Will this put a dent on the legacy of KD.

I mean he is obviously at least the second best player in the league, perhaps the best indeed so why isnt he a team captain? Because he is playing on another man's team.

I don't think so.  I would say Harden.  In a straight up choice it's close, but in MVP and yes, in the load they carry for their teams, Harden has as big time lead.

MVP and best player in the league are no where near the same thing.  Harden is definitely a MVP candidate, but he is nowhere near the best player in the league.

So MVP and best player in the NBA are NOWHERE near the same thing?  Um, okay.

I would say Rose was the clear cut MVP during the Bulls time, but would you say he was a better player than LeBron? I think MVP and best player are similar, but definitely depends. And I take KD over Harden personally. KD has shown he's been a dominant two way player this year. Harden has shown he isn't at that level yet.

Much more reasonable than to say they’re nowhere near the same thing.

Durant didn't get to be captain because he didn't get the votes. Even before Durant went to GSW, he wasn't as popular as Curry. Its a popularity contest. Has nothing to do with ability.
